Charles, as a new owner of a Fender Kingman V2 Acoustic Bass i wonder what strap you used in your great “When Only the Acoustic Bassist Shows Up to the Gig” YouTube video. I’ve had ongoing neck dives with my strap and am trying to understand which strap will get the bass at the right angle consistently. As for learning from you - as a beginner - you had me at tapping. While Carol Kaye, via the documentary The Wrecking Crew, was my inspiration to learn the bass - I’m a low intermediate pianist - your thinking out of the box, what you’ve shown us what the bass is capable of, and the collaboration with your teacher Jim Stinnett sealed the deal. By the way, you’re an Artist by every definition of the word. I greatly appreciate where you’ve taken the bass with your artistic vision. Phil

Hi Phil, thanks for the kind words! The strap I use is made by"Perri's Leathers". I bought it at Guitar Center but I'm sure you can find it online too. I'm not sure how much the strap will actually help though... In my experience it's more about where the bass's centre of gravity is. But it's worth a try and, worst case scenario, you just get a nice bass strap!
