For most people it's very helpful for composing and understanding music. Just don't fall into the trap of playing scales all the time and never learning / composing interesting music!

The first video I saw on your channel was your version of smooth ciminal, as I am a huge Micheal Jackson fan, I would very much appreciate it, if you could uplode the tabs or some practice videos on that one, would love to learn it!
