HAPPY NEW YEAR! (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

First of all, please let me welcome all my new supporters for joining us on this production! I hope this update finds you all well as we start moving towards the new year. As for myself, I've recently moved to a new rented room on the 27 Jan. The new place offers a more conducive work environment than where I previously was, with more natural light flowing in during the day and more space to move around.

The only thing that's missing at this point is a proper work desk. Even as I type this, I am doing it from the floor, which is manageable for non-work related tasks. However, when drawing for long hours, working from the ground hurts my legs, back and wrist - not something I'd recommend for the long term.

Hopefully once that's done, and some warming up to my new workspace, I'll be back on track with production both for Meatier Showers and my remaining commission slate. So here's a quick rundown on what you can expect from my Patreon in the coming year.

2021 Outlook

With the confirmation of my events management course scheduled from 9am - 7pm, every Mondays & Thursdays (and the possibility of assignments between online classes), I've decided to streamline my reward tiers for next year. Starting 2021, all reward tiers will be streamlined into a single, $3 "Meatier Fan" tier.

The Meatier Fan Tier ($3)

• Early Access Comic (25 of each month)
• Monthly Newsletter (end of each month)
• Downloadable Featured Stream (bundled with newsletter)

Rewards associated with the current $3 tier remain unchanged and will include everything you currently enjoy. No immediate action is required on the part of supporters currently subscribed to the $3 tier.

The Removed $1 and $5 Tiers

Based on this year's trial run, I would like to strive for a more predictable stream of income. With my current circumstances, the $1 tier is not be enough to realistically help me reach a sustainable goal. As for the $5 tier, dropouts can cause sudden changes in financial plans. I've decided to streamline everything to a mid-range $3 also based on the fact that I've started to feel uncomfortable monetizing my personal sketches which I primarily do for therapy. 

Required Action ($1 and $5 Tiers)

It has taken me the past few months to get a better sense on how best to deliver content on a consistent basis here, and I am terribly sorry for any inconveniences caused during this phase of rebooting my Patreon.

For those of you still pledging $5, I would kindly request you revise your pledge to the streamlined $3 tier, as I will no longer offer my personal sketches here and want to keep it focused purely on my comics production.

For those pledging $1, you will still have access to the monthly newsletter and archives, but starting in 2021, I will be limiting early access to all my new comic pages only to the $3 tier.

To update your pledge, simply log into your Patreon account, click on your user icon, then click on "Manage memberships" to adjust your tiers accordingly.

Production Plans for 2021

We will continue moving forward as planned (once my table is set up) with the inking and toning phase and delivering one completed comic page per month. The next update you can expect will be on the 25 Jan, which is Page 3 of Meatier Showers 2020... which... I should probably update to 2021 (or a more timeless title?) Monthly newsletters will be accompanied by a downloadable stream video to showcase the production involved, like in this edition you'll get to see how Page 2 was produced:
