First, a quick warm welcome to all my new Patreon supporters! For those of you who aren't aware, I've been implementing extensive revisions to the first few pages of Meatier Showers 2019. The original page 1 had been taken out, shifting the consecutive pages forward - which means we only have 5 pages out of the original 6 for the first story arc, "Catching Up".

To compensate for this loss, the original page 3 has now been split and expanded upon to form a new page 2 and 3.

This is partly why I work on each panel on a separate layer to facilitate drastic structural and pacing changes as you can see above. Changes like these aren't without repercussions. Now the middle panel of page 2 looks like the new page 1 - and almost looks like a jump cut when you flip the pages... and unintended effect while doing some improvised editing.

What's gonna happen this weekend is that I'll be revisiting page 1 to fix the mid shot of Pride and Groove) and avoid that weird jump cut effect (while flipping across pages 1 and 2) and also to add in the facial details missing in the placeholder sketches for pages 3.

I could, of course, rush the pages through and have them released by the initial projection date of June 2019... but ultimately that is an arbitrary deadline I created for myself to stay productive. It would, in fact, be counterproductive and even more detrimental to push out pages that are not at their best, and risk soiling the series and brand altogether.
