Shield Generator 7

whoa... so this guy can turn himself into a dragon? Or is he a dragon that can turn himself into a human?

MegSyv

Are zebras black horses with white stripes, or white horses with black stripes?

Robert

Bling the magic dragon!

jaaama

So he is a dragon other dragons want to hoard?

Mary Williams

You make me want to play the alternate ending chapter to DQVIII again. One can be a man and a dragon, as long as he denies neither side of himself. (And, Yoko will do FABULOUSLY!!!!!)

Hmm... does he transform around his clothes, create his clothes after transforming, or is he a big fan of cheap clothes.

MegSyv

He could wear himself as a sweet gold chai- no wait ugh i got nothin

MegSyv

What on earth is DQVIII? Dragon Quest? Is it any good? Should I play it?

Mary Williams

Re: The DQVII query: Dragon Quest 8. Yes. Yes. YES! It's similar and true in core gameplay to earlier installments of the series (It reminded me a lot of Dragon Warrior, which was the North American name for Dragon Quest 1.) but the developer Level 5 was contracted to remake it into a fully 3D game and world. So, if you've played any of the others, you'll recognize the characteristic blue menus and text prompts but there's a fully explorable cell-shaded 3D world and lots and lots of story-driven cut-scenes. The story changes entirely when, after finishing the game, you're given access to a whole new chapter of gameplay. Your story progress is reset to the point just before the final boss and you're given the opportunity to explore more about the main character's past -- and then your mind is blown because all of the little details that seemed unimportant throughout the rest of the story suddenly have ALL NEW meaning. (I LOVE games like this!!!!!) It's a bit spoilerish because dragons are supposed to have been gone from their world, but the bonus chapter also features a GrandMaster Wu-ish race. :D It IS a game you can pick up and put down if you have a busy schedule, though, and although the original is for the PS2, they're near-to releasing a 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII with even more bonus content. Ok, I'm gonna stop fangirling now. ;) At least over DQ8. Onward to Grandmaster Wu!

Bet he doesn't need seven balls to summon him either
