Okay, here's today's page! Thank you very very much for your patience!

We're going to have a long talk about this whole thing that happened at some point. This is  super bad. The others just don't realize how bad yet.

makes me wonder if Cave elves find Female Cave Elves to be either Highly respected or Sacred, especially one with Magical prowess. And if Female Cave Elves have tattoos when they reach adulthood

This page made me think the Cave Elf was apologizing to Lyra, trying to make amends, rather than running in a panic yelling apologies to Thistle. He was surrendering. Which.... makes me imitate Thistle's expression.

Didn't Meg say once that Thistle has an "unusual required diet"? Given what we know about cave elves I'm... a little concerned about that.

I agree. I’m guessing some of it would be stuff you’d find growing in the dark. Hence the craving for mushrooms. But the dentition and claws of the cave elves makes me wonder if their prey tend to be dangerous, like bears or other clawed and fanged creatures with fur. Most animals and cultures do not eat human flesh. Since, obviously, some cave elves do, it makes me wonder if that is preference or opportunity. One of these was husky, while the other was whipcord thin, so I’m guessing starvation is not the primary motivator. I saw somewhere that very little is known about cave elves, their culture, language, or even intelligence levels. So they seem to be very much out-of-sight-out-of-mind and rarely seen or thought about. Miners would be the most likely to have run-ins with them, and the miners would be at a disadvantage in the dark against territorial beings that tend to take bites out of them.
