I’m kinda glad that your expectations were slightly subverted by comments that may have put down the show or said it was a kids show (still nothing true about that, except the actors). S2 and S3 are really enjoyable; but S4 def takes the whole thing to another level. I’d say the maturity of the show also naturally grows with the child actors. I’ll def enjoy watching your ST journey.

I think season 2 is a bit weak, but season 3 was one of my favorites, so hang in there!!!

I think now you understand the hype when this series came out. The kids are such damn good actors, you really connect to them. This is a journey that will be really fun to watch you go through, because this season was only the tip of the iceberg. Things will get really serious 😄

something to note, the reason Joyce and Hop were able to get in and out so "easily" IS because Nancy etc were fighting the monster, and then it was at the school. So if they had stayed "put" like Mom wanted, they never would have gotten Will. So it was nice that it is thanks to everyone's efforts that things turned out, if we can say turned out

This is such an intense season finale. The scenes with Hopper, his ex-wife, and their daughter are so well-done and really break my heart. I also love the scenes with Jonathan, Nancy, and Steve, facing off against the demigorgon. Good on Steve for coming back to help out, despite not knowing what’s really going on. He could have been a one dimensional character, the jock jerk type, but he’s shown to be much more than that. I have been a Nancy/Jonathan shipper from early on in the season though, I must confess. Looking forward to season two!

I cry at the Hopper flash scenes to his daughter dying EVERY TIME! I honestly was expecting Pudgey to laugh, with her history of laughing through traumatic events (Red Wedding? Lol)

There's only one monster guys. Pudgey saying, "use science or something," gave me flashbacks to Jesse in Breaking Bad saying "Yeah, Mr. White! Yeah science!"
