I kinda feel the same way. First one ok, music good. It’s super wierd cos 2 is quite possibly my favourite movie of all time. I’ve never left a cinema raving about a movie like that quite before, atleast not since The Dark Knight.

Top Gun is a flawed movie but the vibe, aesthetic, and music are iconic and a staple of 80s cinema. Top Gun 2 is amazing for more technical reasons.

Unpopular take here but I think Bastards is a kinda boring-ish movie with some FANTASTIC scenes in it. Top Gun 2 is entertaining from start to finish. Either way, I'm not complaining. Not bad choices.

Inglorious basterds is far different from every war movie or show they watched. Its set in ww2 but there arent any battle scenes and the whole vibe of the movie is unique

Tough scene, Top Gun is probably looked upon more fondly now thanks to its sequel which was quite good. Inglorious whilst a great film, doesn’t really seem like their type of movie but that is why the polls exist. Hope to see Sherlock Holmes get it’s time down the road.

Wut? Top Gun was a huge hit when it came out. It was absolutely iconic in the 80s. Its the film that made Tom Cruise a huge star.
