Ross taking out his anger on Easy Company because Rachel didn’t agree that WE WERE ON A BREAK

This is arguably the greatest single season of any TV series made. It's incredible. And The Pacific and the Masters Of The Air are definitely worth reacting to, but they aren't as good as BoB. And they are connected because they are all WWII, but just from different portions of the war. Great reaction!

Cody Sutton

Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg produced this, as well as, Masters of the Air and The Pacific. All so well done, showing three very different perspectives from WWII. But Band of Brothers is an absolute gem, one of the best tv shows of all time. Check the others out down the road though.

Josh

For Spartan since I know he played it recently: Currahee (Cherokee for "stand alone") is where Captain Kirrahe in Mass Effect ("hold the line") gets his name.

John G

Should check out Hacksaw Ridge one of the best war movies of all time. Based on an incredible true story where the achievements were actually downplayed in the movies, so it would be more believable to the audience.

This is a brilliant TV show done very well and it's a wonderful opportunity for younger generations to learn about the war. I'll try to answer a few of your questions. They were upset when they announced that there would be no drop that night because the last hours before a mission are like torture. You are psyched up, just want to go because you are aware of the stakes and the dangers you will be facing and you would rather be there doing it than waiting for it. Many young men indeed committed suicide when they were rejected even due to serious medical reasons. They felt like they'd left their comrades and country down. Winters choosing the court-martial was a good move. He was not to be blamed for not getting the message, he knew exactly what was Sobel doing. By choosing Court Martial he got Sobel into trouble because the jury would find that he was innocent. This also drew negative attention to Easy Company and it was a sign that something was wrong. When the NCOs ( Non-Comissioned Officers ) decided to speak up against Sobel the only way they could, they indeed risked execution. During wartime, something like this is punishable by death. But Sink recognized that it is unanimous not some rogue action by one or two of them. Literally every single NCO in the company was standing before him, so he had no choice but to reassign Sobel and he was likely sure ( Winter's Court Martial was a big enough clue already ) that something was not right. Sobel was good at training troops ( many Easy Company men admitted that the fact that they survived was likely thanks to Sobel's relentless training ) but not a good combat leader. The other two TV shows are about different branches of the military. The Pacific is about the Marine Corps ( USMC ) and Masters of the Air is about the US Air Force ( USAF ). They're really good and worth a watch, high-quality stuff done really well. This is a great journey guys can't wait for the rest of the episodes. :)

We stand alone, each and every one of us. We are all individuals, each with our own separate lives, our own rights, our own strengths and weaknesses. But we do so together. We are each dependent upon one another in a careful ballet, a balancing act in which we have to recognize that the struggle for freedom, while ultimately one for individual rights, is one in which we all engage together.
