Hello! It's been a while since the usual Monday progress log, so let's get right to it. The amount of stuff added isn't that impressive, but I'm only getting started, so next one should be more juicy.

What got added:
- Reunion event added inside Richards house
- Afterstory event added for Richards and Junior
- Number of old bugs fixed
- Damaging clothes in ruins and returning back to the Shrine using emergency crystal now raises exposure meter
- Submission contract meter can be raised to 100

This week I'll be focusing on adding missing Gem events and adding new floor to Slave School ending.

Also, we'll have a feedback post about Succulence 2 alpha on Wednesday, so make sure to tune in.
Cheers!

Appreciate the update. Not sure if this has been asked before, but what are your plans in regards to "finishing" the game? Will there be a time where you'll be able to say "This is it, all following ideas have space in S2"?

There's enough stuff that I want to add to fill in at least 2 updates. After that I'll probably be focusing on the sequel, but I don't mind rolling out smaller updates once in a while for this game even after that. After all, I was way too ambitious with the amount of quest chains I started, so there will most likely always be space for adding new content.

Also I do like the idea of transferring some of the unfinished events to the sequel. We'll probably have a poll on that in the future.

I think going with more quest chains is better than fewer. Games with only a few, or even just one chain, grow tiresome because you're just doing the same thing. I hope you don't dial back on the amount of quest chains too much, because the number of them is one of the best things about S1. A simple way to fix the workload would be making the chains less complex. Not every quest has to be elaborate.

Depends on how long the quest chains are. I prefer fewer, more complex ones, then many very small, simple ones.

There will be plenty of quests in the sequel, but I'll try to be smarter when adding them, so that there won't be dead-end notes saying "this event will continue in the near future". Like video game club, for example.
