Mia Rosas

22 years old, September 9th

Interests: Anime and manga, watching other people play video games because she isn't coordinated enough to play them herself, drawing lewd art (she is bisexual and draws women more because it makes her more popular), making comics, sketching her environment and drawing character studies while people watching, lewd content in general, weed (nice)

Personality: Seemingly distant and aloof but is actually just soft-spoken and is quite chill and easy-going once you start talking to her. Still reserved and doesn't speak for huge stretches of time, her words being more deliberate and to the point. Tries to stay optimistic but is a defeatist when it comes to some things, which is something Oliver will help her with. She's at a depressive point in her life because of her tendinitis but she doesn't let it show.

Appearance: Five feet tall, Hispanic, slim and petite, c-cup breasts. Bright blue eyes and an expressionless face, a pair of thick red-rimmed glasses. Short black hair with a red highlight on her right bangs. Her color theme is red and most of her wardrobe is in that color. She dresses low-effort outside of work. Sweatpants, hoodies, track suits, jackets. Often carries a backpack with art supplies and a portable tablet for drawing, the backpack is covered in pins from her many different favorite series.

Family: Mia is very close to her family. Her grandfather moved from Mexico to the US in his youth, making her the daughter of a second-generation immigrant. She's not deeply engrossed in hispanic culture, but she speaks Spanish and is a lapsed Catholic who now identifies as agnostic. Her family doesn't really care aside from her grandfather who is old-fashioned but well-meaning.

Her mother is named Valentina, goes by Val, and she is a traditional homemaker who also offers babysitting and cleaning services to the neighborhood as a side hustle. A very kind, family-oriented woman.

Her father is named Emmanuel. He's a quiet man who Mia takes after. He runs his own carpentry shop that he inherited from Mia's grandfather. While they aren't absurdly wealthy, the store does all right for itself. His hands are covered in scars from work and he's missing part of his left pinky finger from a woodworking accident.

Mia has two older brothers who are five years older than her, twins, named Juan and José. They are more like their mother, both being outgoing guys with friendly dispositions. They both followed in their father's footsteps and are carpenters at his shop. They're protective of their sister but it's hypocritical since they're playboys themselves. Might be fun if they end up going to the same gym that Oliver becomes a member of.

Her grandfather, referred to as abuelito, is named Domingo. He's very old and lives in a wheelchair but does not require a bell indicate and can still talk. Has a slight stick up his ass and doesn't really understand the modern world but he's not a gigantic asshole about it, just a minor one.

Mia has always been a quiet girl but used to be a lot more shy and reserved than she is now. She had a similar early childhood to Oliver. Didn't fit in, didn't have all that many friends, and so on. She did get along better with nerd girls and had more solid friends than Oliver did- her best friend being a gaming addict named Zoe who is relevant later- but that's not saying much.

Stacy bullied Mia briefly in their freshman year of high school. On top of being a nerd, Mia used to have really bad acne and was sensitive about it. The bullying ended after Oliver stood up to her and shifted the target to himself. She developed a crush on him because of this but couldn't find the nerves to talk to him before he ended up changing schools. It was always a big regret for her and she still frequently thought about him. Was a big surprise to find out he was an employee of the store she started working at but was disappointed to learn he didn't recognize her. Hasn't had the confidence to come out and talk to him about it but will open up fairly quick if given the chance.

After high school she drifted from job to job, always doing part-time so that she can also work on her art. Her family is fine with this and doesn't mind her living at home. Much like Oliver she's in a period of uncertainty regarding her life.

Mia obviously holds a great distaste for Stacy, but things are not fully antagonistic between them at the start of the story. Mia gets the impression that Stacy has grown up a little bit since then and doesn't go out of her way to start shit, but Mia wouldn't hesitate to say barbed comments about her in private. Once they're more familiar with each other, i.e after they've worked out their issues and are sharing the same man, they'll develop a friendly rivalry of sorts where they obviously care about each other but are constantly teasing each other.

Mia gets along very well with Tessa, who has a soft spot for the young girl and tries not to overwork her as she is aware of Mia's wrist problems. She also knows about Mia's crush on Oliver and Tessa is quick to lay on the anti-male rhetoric instead of encouraging her, at least on the surface. Tessa might go out of her way to give her opportunities to do things on the job with Oliver despite the things she says about men not being worth the effort.

Ever since she was young, art has always been Mia's thing. She tried to learn woodworking like the rest of her family but she's pretty clumsy when it doesn't involve art and they didn't force her when she didn't show promise. She particularly enjoys drawing in an anime style, but she's good at classical forms like figure drawing and still life drawing as well. She grew up watching anime and it helped her cope with a lot of her anxieties and self-confidence issues. She primarily enjoys shounen stuff, series that are fun and lighthearted and filled with battles.

Mia is also drawn to hentai content and that's her main artistic pursuit these days. She wants make a living off of commissions to get more practice while she figures out what she wants to do with her skills. Vague aspirations about potentially doing a comic, wants to mix her love of battle stuff with lewd but doesn't have any concrete ideas and she currently just does occasional fanart comics. Might get inspired by being with Oliver to make a harem comic using his life as reference material.

She already has a couple thousand followers and several recurring clients, but she's run into a roadblock lately. Mia suffers from tendinitis at the start of the story and its seemingly getting worse. It's made her a lot more depressive than usual and as such she responds very well once Oliver starts chasing her since it's the first positive thing that's happened to her in a while.

She lives in a small apartment with her childhood friend, Zoe. It's bigger than Oliver's but not by much.

Her romance path and heart events will focus on Oliver learning the truth about who Mia is and growing closer to her because of it. Once she learns about his powers she will call herself the tutorial girl by her own admission and is overall very easy to please. Her affection meter goes up very fast because she already likes him and it won't be long before he makes serious progress with her.

Her heart events will be cute, casual stuff. Walking around the city together while people watching, coming over to his place and getting high together only to end up cuddling on his bed because he doesn't have a couch, Oliver doing some modeling for her art only for her tendinitis to act up, and things like that.

Oliver will confide in Mia early on about his abilities after he gets the truth perk, and she believes him. She will encourage him to make the most of them and after they get together she'll organize a get together with some of her other nerdy friends to see if his powers react to them. They do, but with Zoe. Mia isn't initially happy with this but will encourage it after some developments.

Maxing out her heart events will unlock the Wrist of Steel perk for her, permanently curing her tendinitis and making her even more loyal to Oliver in the process. She will push for them to move in together (while still technically living with Zoe and paying rent there so as not to throw her under the bus) as soon as he is comfortable so that he can get the extra LP, not minding it being a studio apartment. Mia will stay at her family house on nights where he might bring a different girl home. After he hooks up with Zoe, too, he'll move in with them as his first major living space upgrade.

When it comes to kinks, Mia's up for most anything and leans heavily towards being an obedient submissive- yet in contrast to her chill personality, she is shockingly passionate during sex. Extremely affectionate, lots of kisses and can't keep her hands to herself. Mia particularly enjoys seeing Oliver with other girls and will occasionally want to observe from the sidelines while doing sketches.
