Sylvietta Palemist
Age 22, human female, unemployed noblewoman and ponder streamer
Appearance- Sylvietta possesses the two primary traits of her family, pure white hair and purple eyes. Her hair is long and perfect, her eyes sharp yet soulful. She's always making a stubborn expression. Sylvietta is five foot four, very thin, with a cute, petite butt and B cup breasts. No pubic hair.
In her daily life, Sylvietta dresses extravagantly. She follows all of Imperalis's fashion trends and is always buying new clothes for herself. She's less into fancy dresses and more into the fantasy equivalent of streetwear. Stylized jackets, boots, shoes, leggings, and so on. She prefers clothing in dark blue and purple shades typically with black and silver as complementary colors.
Always carries around a designer purse that has her familiar inside, his three heads always poking out and making strange expressions. See below.
In her alternate persona, Sylvietta changes her hair into a short, dusky blonde cut with two big curly bangs on each side of her face, neat across the top, and an indigo gradient across the bottom. Her trademark color in this form is a light sky blue. Her expression becomes soft, gentle, and submissive with upturned eyebrows. Pouty lips painted pink. She makes her eyes rounder, heavily coating them in makeup to get a more dainty and demure look.
Her persona's costumes are often cutesy, frilly, and play up her good girl vibe. She likes sheer robes, sexy nightgowns, babydolls, and things of that nature. To add just a hint of naughtiness, she adds in little bondage flourishes as a recurring motif. Almost always wears a collar with a lock hanging from it, along with cuffs and anklets sometimes as well.
Abilities- Sylvietta is an even lower level spellcaster than Liri. Contrary to her house's unrivaled pedigree, she is a failure at most schools of magic she's ever dabbled in. Limited to very low level cantrip things, again even more so than Liri. She tries to go without using magic most of the time if she can help it as occasionally her spells have a tendency to backfire.
Sylvietta has limited talent with familiar magic. She knows a handful of basic spells to power up her familiar and apply different buffs and traits to it, and is able to summon her familiar at any time.
Familiar- Her familiar is a medium-small sized, three-headed dog named Kermeros, who is a Tioran Trihound (Italian Greyhound/Iggy irl equivalent). Inspired by stories of the mighty Cerberus from the realm of Grekka, these strange, anxious creatures were the result of early chimeric experiments by House Palemist to create a three-headed fox. The first one was shown off at a party and it became strangely popular as a pet among Tior's nobility, what with its derpy facial expressions and amusing mannerisms. Serious breeding efforts began afterwards and they are still quite popular in the modern era.
Kermeros is just as strange and anxious as any other of his breed, each of its three heads looking to be on the verge of crying at all times. Each head has its own brain but are so alike it often seems like they are three parts of a whole rather than three in one. He is gray with a white underbelly and a thin, wiry tail. Very sleek, short fur. Though often not seemingly the case, Kerm has a high intellect and understands human speech. When things look serious or he senses Sylvietta is in danger, his personality shifts to become more serious and he can utilize the power of his pact with his mistress to enlarge his size and invoke other powers independently of her, though they are strongest when working together.
Personality- high-strung, rude, diva, vulnerable, lonely, caring
Motivation- Sylvietta does what she does because she has a deep need for love. She wants someone's approval and for others to adore her. Once she finally has people, their happiness becomes an essential part of her own.
Interests- Sylvietta has many interests. She enjoys the caretaking of magical beasts, fashion, shopping, and she pretends to enjoy things that a lady of high standing would be expected to like poetry and theater. Another thing that she pretends about is her interest in all of the nerdy games that Liri is into. She wouldn't be caught dead admitting to it, but she has a sizable collection of RealMonster cards of her own, preferring cards based on common magical pets or familiars. It goes without saying that she has special interest in dogs and enjoys playing with Kerm, going on walks with him, and so on. Dogs are one of the few things that make her instantly drop her tsundere persona.
History- House Palemist is the ducal house of the Tior province and Sylvietta is the fourth daughter of Duke Tiolanis Palemist's fifth wife. A bit of explanation is in order. Though harems are common among the nobility, House Palemist typically takes this to an extreme. To preserve and improve upon their magical bloodline, they marry and integrate powerful mages into their fold be they commoner or noble alike, then have as many children as possible. There are some very heavy eugenics undertones. Sylvietta's mother was a commoner with tremendous skill when it came to commanding her familiars. A real once in a generation talent, one that House Palemist had to have. Sylvietta inherited virtually none of that and none of her father's power, either.
When a child of house Palemist born, they are put through dozens of different magical aptitude tests to determine their future capability, potential destinies, and overall what use they might bring to the house. Sylvietta's results were less than satisfactory. She has low mana capacity, no discernible gifts or special talents and in none of the divination results was she projected to ever become anything worthwhile. Even her use as a potential political marriage was seen as questionable at best as in their words it would muddy the bloodline.
House Palemist is not overly barbaric, at the very least. They don't purge unwanted children, they just send them somewhere else so that they don't have to deal with them. Sylvietta was sent to House Palemist's vacation Villa in Grimme's Grotto, where she could at least serve the purpose of a spare daughter to accompany the Duke whenever he has business in Imperalis. Similarly to Leo, Sylvietta was raised by housekeepers and butlers, but the difference between them is that Sylvietta's were more attentive and hands-on with her. She has a close relationship with her servants because of how they took care of her.
Despite not having her family's love, Sylvietta wanted for nothing. House Palemist has astronomical funds and power because of the stranglehold mages have over many of Karnalle's industries. Even their rare, unwanted children are given everything their hearts desire which is explicitly why she still gets to act like a spoiled rich girl despite not actually being all that spoiled. It's likely through an allowance that she complains about being too low when in reality it's anything but.
One of her formative memories is the adoption of her pet turned familiar, Kermeros. It was a rare moment when both her father and mother were at the villa with her at the same time. She generally has a good relationship with her mother but as you would expect the mother is encouraged not to spend too much time with the unwanted child. The three of them went out for her fifth birthday and visited Critters, Creatures and Companions, Imperalis's largest magical creatures retailer. Her father didn't think it was worth trying to get her a familiar, but Sylvietta's mother fought back and convinced him that the girl deserved a pet even if she couldn't master it.
They looked at the different kinds of magical beasts on offer and eventually they came across a Tioran Trihound pup. Sylvietta's father was amused to see it and explained the relative history to his daughter about how it's a failed alchemical test turned pet breed. Even though Sylvietta was young, she understood some of the basics about why she was neglected. Though he was kind her on a surface level, Tiolanis never shied away from referring to her as useless under his breath. She picked up things like how people believed she would never amount to anything, and in that derpy puppy she saw herself. It was a failure, too, but now lots of people loved it. How perfect was that? Sylvietta had to have him and her father thought it was fitting as well so he approved, and that is how she ended up with Kerm.
Like all children in Grimme's Grotto with magic capabilities, Sylvietta was compelled to attend Wiggledorpen's School for the Magically Gifted when she turned eleven. Instead of finding herself a clique of mean girls to form some sort of bully squad like one might expect a rich girl to do, Sylvietta had problems fitting in and was unable to make friends during her school years. To overcompensate for her lack of talent, she developed a cold and harsh personality that looked down on others. This didn't do much to help her standing, quite the opposite. Those who might've been her friends were instead pushed away and many rumors were spread about her. Her biggest point of contention was that it was almost unheard of for a member of House Palemist to be sent to Wiggledorpen's for school instead of Mithimere's Magicademy. She was made fun of a lot for this fact, and it only made her more bitter and resentful.
As mentioned in Liri's document, they knew each other during their school years and Sylvietta developed an irrational rivalry with her. Liri always tried to be nice, but Sylvietta saw this plain girl with low magic abilities be well-liked among her peers and it struck the wrong chord for her. It didn't help that because of their low magical prowess they were often partnered up in assignments and mage duels, where Liri always handily defeated her in a public setting. Liri tried to take it easy on her but since she was weak herself there was only so much she could do to hold back. Of course, Sylvietta saw any attempts to hold back as demeaning and this only heightened the tension between them.
One positive thing that happened during her school years was that Sylvietta got to study more about familiars and actually showed a small amount of talent in the subject. She was able to bind Kermeros to her soul, turning him into a spirit that wouldn't grow old and die, and she learned most basic familiar spells and abilities with relative ease. Anything more advanced than that proved difficult, however, and in the years following her schooling she hasn't bothered to try improving her magic much further because there's not much of a point to it.
Another nice thing that happened to her and her teenage years was that someone new came to live at the villa with her. The middle son of Duke Palemist's first wife, Albartatius Palemist. Though an accomplished mage, Albar was not accomplished enough for any meaningful position of power and was instead sent to replace a relative as one of the grands upon their death. Unlike his predecessor who permanently resided in his tower, Albar frequently spends time at the villa and took an interest in his younger half-sister due to their similarities.
It's one of the few positive relationships Sylvietta has, although she is very awkward with Albar's two wives. One of them is a lot like her, a rich, spoiled older noblewoman who (seemingly) thinks little of her husband, and a younger commoner mage who is friendly and tries to be nice to Sylvietta. He's a weak willed man and it's pretty clear they walk all over him in a way he doesn't particularly mind. Would be a good plot point for her to grow and get closer to them.
Since her graduation, Sylvietta has done nothing of worth with her life. She's merely existed, keeping to herself and her hobbies under no pressure to do anything. So long as she plays her role as a pretty young noblewoman when someone needs her to and attend parties, she's given free reign. There have been marriage offers but since her father doesn't explicitly care about her and Albar does her a favor by stressing her poor personality in his letters, there have been no attempt to force her into one. She's very thankful to him for that. I don't really want to do a 'stop the arranged marriage arc' if I'm being honest as I find those very overplayed and annoying often enough, but the potential is there. If anything it could be prevented by her introducing Leo as her boyfriend and getting approval.
Because of her wealth, Sylvietta was able to get in on the new generation of crystal balls as soon as they came out. She's been enjoying the benefits ever since and greatly enjoys the convenience it brings to her already convenient life. Of course, her interest was also of a sexual nature and she also fell down the rabbit hole of sexual ponder streamers. As a person who wasn't very sexual until that, it came as a big awakening for her to realize how amazing it all was. Sylvietta quickly developed a taste for porn featuring submissive girls who got bullied and wanted to see herself in such a position one day. After a couple years of hesitation, Sylvietta came up with her alternate persona InnocentHaze and became a camgirl. More info on that below. For now, were going to get into her relationship with Leo.
Like he was with Liri, he was there for her first stream and played a similar confidence boosting role for her. She developed a fondness for him that became more serious over time the more he continually showed up in her streams. Like with Liri, she also started to extend the offer of private sessions with him. The differences will be made more apparent in the actual writing and she won't just fall for him because he was a nice guy on the orbnet. She is much more serious about flirting with LowbornKing, making it very clear to him she wants to meet him in the real world the more they mess around. It'll be presented as somewhat unhealthy, especially when he gets together with Liri. She had these elaborate dreams about meeting him and getting together and how he would be able to understand her like he did on the orbnet, so her heart is sort of broken when she gets a notification that her friend LowbornKing is streaming a virginity loss stream with some other girl. She watched it, of course, and got off very hard thinking about how it should've been her.
Before we get into what will happen in the fallout, I want to mention how she's going to know Leo in real life. Unlike Liri, who he knows at the start of the story, he will meet her in the first story arc. She will have heard of his reputation and calls him to fetch something embarrassing for her that she can't ask any of her servants to acquire. I don't know what it is yet, just listing the idea itself. He will be invited to the villa where he meets her and has a very bad experience with her. She's bitchy, looks down on him for his bastard status and overall is just a very distasteful person.
The punchline here is that after he's done with work for the day he will go on the orbnet and get into a private stream with InnocentHaze, which he often defaults to whenever he's had a really bad day. The reader will have heard about her before but this is her first introduction. He's able to DM her and ask if she would take care of him tonight and she is seemingly always willing to serve. In their stream, he would detail his extremely bitchy client and how horrible it was unknowingly to his extremely bitchy client, who is not self-aware enough to realize LowbornKing is talking about her. She would be adoring, submissive and sympathetic, before things become a verbal abuse session that they are both very into.
After Leo and Liri hook up and start streaming, he will get another quest from Sylvietta that tasks him with bringing down a lot of ice from the Odarri Mountains so that her servants can make her luxury ice cream. She's incredibly depressed at this time and ice cream made from normal ice or ice made by a mage won't cut it as she claims it tastes better. Leo will ask her about what's wrong and she surprisingly is forthcoming about how the person she was in love with started seeing someone. Because the pay is great and also because he feels sorry for her, he does the quest, and when he returns she actually offers him to stay a while and have a bowl of ice cream. Though tempted to get out of there, he ends up doing so out of pity. They end up having a surprisingly nice talk and she's able to be honest with him because he's a stranger, telling him in vague terms some of what happened. Leo ends up helping pull her out of her depression at least a little bit, and she comes to the conclusion that she shouldn't give up on him just yet.
Later, she will DM LowbornKing after ignoring his messages for a while and explain that she's been in love with him for a long time and proposes that the two of them along with ChrissiCrystal meet up. Maybe he will have made a throw away post on ponder joking about how ChrissiCrystal wants him to have a harem and she'll quote it saying they should talk about this in real life because she's very serious about pursuing it. Leo will have told Liri about the two other streamers he's into and she is very much all for meeting up with her even if Leo is nervous and hesitant about it.
Then the biggest joke of all is that when they do, LowbornKing is revealed to be that adventurer, with Sylvietta realizing that he was talking about her in that one session, and Liri is revealed to be her one-sided nemesis. Negotiations go poorly from there, but things will eventually work themselves out I'm sure and culminate in a 'Breaking in our New Slut!' stream.
Streaming Persona- InnocentHaze, often referred to as Hazy, is massively different from her real life counterpart. When in costume and streaming, she acts like a different person. She is waifish, demure, and submissive with a soft spoken and gentle voice. She picked this form because of her interest in rough domination and because of her need for love. She plays up how desperate and lonely she is for the crowd early on, appealing heavily to her fans. Although she doesn't use any penetrative toys, she has lots of good ideas that make up for it. She is more popular than Liri at the start of the story.
When Sylvietta is Hazy, she is able to come to terms with all her more complicated thoughts and emotions. She is honest and will open up about anything, with the drawback being that she will deny just about whatever she said when she goes back to being Sylvietta, claiming it was all part of her character and she was only saying what people wanted to hear. Her actions suggest otherwise, however. She really does mean everything she says as her persona and it's like a switch is flipped in her.
When she joins LowbornKing, she takes the de facto role of lowest submissive. All the girls in the story are submissive, but Sylvietta is by far the most. Liri especially enjoys bullying her and will go out of her way to suggest embarrassing ways to do so and probably do lesbian shows every now and then of her messing with Hazy when Leo is doing other things. In character, she respects ChrissiCrystal as her superior and totally gets off on that but when it cuts back to Sylvietta she is deeply humiliated over whatever her rival did to her and will exaggerate her outrage but the truth is they're going to grow incredibly close.
