Content

For one of the first times ever, Fact Fiend is making a move to become less unprofessionally professional.

The changes we have made since re-launching our Patreon and the Untitled Side Channel have helped us be more creative with our content and make strives towards being more involved with the community.

That being said, we know that there is something we've not been great with. Having a clear focus. So here is how we're doing our best to address this. We're giving ourselves jobs.

We've always operated under the general idea that Karl ran the channel and Brad, Nisha and Lucas were 'the editors', however Fact Fiend has grown and changed a lot since that was the idea, and as more responsibilities have manifested, we've all just done our best to generally work as a team to get everything done. While that offers a lot of flexibility, it also gives opportunities for things to fall through the cracks. So here's what each of us will be focusing on in the future so that we can hopefully provide content and a more thriving community for you all.

You'll see some small changes around here and the channel, especially as we settle into these new roles, but be sure to message us on here or socials if you have any specific questions you'd like to ask that aren't covered here. Hope you all continue to enjoy watching us work, let us know what you think in the comments here!

Karl

Karl, as always, will be the Host of the channel.

Outwardly Karl’s job won’t be changing much. He’ll still be writing and presenting videos just as he’s done for the last half decade but will now be editing them himself to free up the rest of the team.

In addition he’ll be delegating some of his earlier behind the scenes duties to better focus on creating content first and foremost.

Brad

Brad is our Archivist and Creator of Legacy Content.

As the longest serving editor, Brad is perfectly suited to manage the back catalogue of the channel. This involves organising all Fact Fiend related files as well as curating the content already uploaded to the channel.

Along with organisation, Brad is working on bringing older content to new eyes by finding some of Fact Fiend's best moments and turning them into shorts and compilations.

Brad will also still be working on alternative content for the Untitled Side Channel and will be hosting the occasional Fact Fiend video.

Nisha

Nisha is the channel's Creative Liaison.

Nisha will be taking on the brand new role of being in charge of sorting all Fact Fiend merchandise, collaborating ideas with Saikou Apparel and liasing with talented artists to create fun designs and making them suitable for the channels attire.

If any artists have any creative ideas/fan art they have made that they think would look great on a t-shirt, get in touch via Twitter - @midnightneesh.

Nisha will also continue to be involved in creating content for the Untitled Side Channel and a voice off camera for the main Fact Fiend channel (with the possibility of hosting the odd video).

(For anyone interested in the Nisha's Niche series, it will continue on her personal channel - https://www.youtube.com/theneeshproductions)

Lucas

Lucas is now your Community and Social Media Manager!

This means Lucas will be at the heart of our community focus as we try to grow and expand it. Cultivating your feedback to make both our Patreon and our Discord feel somewhere that fans feel involved in and listened to.

We'll be able to make more time and effort to get everybody involved as we move forward with our future efforts, as well as making people more aware of what benefits they have as patrons and how they can get involved in more ways!

He'll also be in charge or making sure the Tiks get Tokked and the Tweets get Tweeted, so if you're looking to reach out to us on other platforms, there will always be somebody on the other end to provide a response. Don't worry though, Lucas will still be a voice behind the camera and continue to make videos for the side channel, for example continuing to make the Fact Feud series of videos.
