After I first saw that video I realized Oda was building towards a Lord of The Rings style epic in a Pirate Fantasy setting. It wasn't just some episodic show without major plots, foreshadowing, themes, tribulations and turmoil.

Happy Thanksgiving! We don't have that in my country, but it sounds lika a lovely tradition. Yes, this is like a really good trailer, isn't it? The only problem is that it takes a while to get to these parts in the anime, so there's a risk of being disappointed by the beginning of One Piece because it's so much simpler, if you haven't seen anything of the anime at all. I realy love how the creator colleted and themed everything, and hinted at the mysteries of the world in a very, very vague way that spoils nothing.

Happy thanksgiving! For the last line my favorite translation is “peoples dreams have no end!” It’s a small difference but I feel it is more powerful. And I excited for y’all to finish the prologue and enter the grand line. The true adventure awaits!
