I'm gonna say it now Jason will cry, or least tear up, like I'm so sure of it, I'm pretty sure i know which episodes Storyteller (i think thats the name I heard from the video) is talking about. Also since you guys are starting to get close, just a heads up, episodes 54-60 are filler episodes. These are episodes that Oda had nothing to do with (usually? I think. someone correct me if im wrong pls) and were created to simply make sure the anime didn't pass up the source material (the manga). Most of the community generally just skip these episodes as they aren't usually very good (or least most people don't like them)

Arlong Park is the first arc that people truly adore. It sells a lot of people on the story for the rest of the series, but there are DEFINITELY better arcs. This shit gets crazy Can't wait for you guys to get to arcs that weren't in the live action!

You used to watch Fist of the North Star?~! WOW that's crazy because Oda does pay homage to Fist of the North Star in One Piece a lot! It's a really good, series and paved the way for a lot of manga.

The Arlong Park Arc def is the hook for many people myself included. Keep in mind alot of use watched the show weekly in anticipation every week over 24 years but when you binge, you can get burned out after watching a few hundred episodes in a row possibly. Feel free to take breaks when you feel like this and watch something else but always remeber to come back to the greatest story of all time, One Piece!

For the fillers, Oda seldom directed it except for the movies starting from Strong World. But I heard that all the fillers must go through Oda's approval or at least acknowledgement because he needed to make sure the fillers not gonna contradict the future plotline or devil fruit he might use.

For the filler 54-60, it dragged a bit too long so it was not very appealing. But some of the important canon intel (Calm Belt) was infused into the episode. If they skip, should they better watch the intel part of the filler?

I think he will cry during a certain arc in the next saga. With a certain crew mate? Maybe? If not, it will be saga 4 at the end…

There are going to be shorter, less intense arcs in between the more emotional ones, but yes, when it comes to main arcs I don't think it ever gets less intense and dramatic! Usually after something like Arlong Part we get a shorter arc which is more a preparation of what's to come than an elaborate story on its own. Usually that's when we get teased with hints of what's going on in the rest of the world and things that might affect the crew in the future.
