Furthermore, 'Kira kira' means 'Sparkle sparkle', more or less, Basically calling the names attention-seeking and weird. This is also why Kira's Kingdom comes with a sparkling title card.

Your theory where you say L set up Light to face near in the future could be right as L specifically says that Light could succeed him a couple episodes back!! So I think he says this as a backup plan in case L died. This in combination with the message and timer would make a lot of sense!
