Hi everyone! Here's the monthly DevLog with a couple big news 😊

Light Fairytale Episode 1

At last, I've completed the update I was working on since a few months now.

It's live on Steam and coming to Xbox and PlayStation in a few weeks.

It will be available day one on Switch.

I took the opportunity to remake the launch trailer of Episode 1 using this build and improve it a bit, rendered in 4K 60 FPS 😉

Nintendo Switch

So, I've completed the port of Episode 1 for the Switch and the ROM passed certification a few days ago 😁

I'm currently working on the store presence.

I've proposed a worldwide (EU, US, JP) release on April 28th with pre-orders starting on April 14th. These dates are still not confirmed by Nintendo so I didn't make them public yet.

PlayStation 4

Light Fairytale Episode 1 is getting a physical release on PS4 thanks to publisher Red Art Games 😁

This release includes a soundtrack CD and a mini-artbook.

It's in stock and the orders open tomorrow March 31th at 5pm CEST!

Limited to 999 copies, so you should act fast if you don't want to miss that!

Bonus

This month's 4K wallpaper is an illustration from the portrait artist.

The first scene introducing Haru and Kuroko in Light Fairytale Episode 1 😊

I was planning to use it in-game on the initial cutscene but thought that it would break the sun morphing into the lightspot in Lower City. Also, the background is from the prototype demo - it changed quite a bit since 😅

What's Next

I'm currently working on porting the latest update of Light Fairytale Episode 1 to Xbox and PlayStation - for release early next month.

I'll then work on updating Episode 2 similarly to Episode 1, first with the Steam version.

I'll also port Episode 2 to Switch, and update it on Xbox and PlayStation.

I hope to complete all these updates and ports around May, to finally focus on Episode 3 on Steam - until the release sometime next year.

That's all for this month 😉

Again, thank you so much for your continuous support. See you next time 😊
