Hello!

The port of Super Night Riders for the PlayStation 4 has been completed and validated by Sony!

The game is coming to the PS4 on the 14 August, in both Europe and the US!

The development of Light Fairytale is progressing very fast. I've completed the implementation of all the backgrounds and main events. Here's a few screenshots.

I've also worked on a new boss battle and a finite runner mini-game! Here's a few GIFs.

I've commissioned a new illustration that will be used as the main artwork for the game. This is just a draft but here's how it looks like used in the cover of the built-in instruction manual.

Here's a new character preview, though she won't appear in episode 1 at all.

I'm currently working on finalizing the environments - optimizing / adding colliders etc. and getting the whole game playable from start to finish. Next month, I will work on the battle system, and implementing all the remaining gameplay features.

I'm confident that the game will be ready for release on Steam Early Access in mid-September. The full Steam version / console versions will need a few more months. It will be ready around the end of the year, but as this is a crowded period in term of AAA releases and discounts I will probably have to postpone the release to mid-January.

Bonus, here's a native screenshot of the game running on my GPD Win2 - the 6" handheld gaming PC, running in the medium quality preset in 720p (native) locked at 30 FPS. Quite impressive for a device this small, with a very low power consumption - only 7w, and without a dedicated GPU!

This should give an idea on how the game will looks like on a very low specs or very old desktop / laptop PC, without a dedicated GPU. The game features 5 quality settings ranging from very low to ultra. You can also customize each graphic feature independently.

And that's it! Please like and comment bellow.

Thank you so much for your support. See you next time!

New character looks great, tbh the whole cast makes me hope for some romance system implementation in the future.

Great Job! Will there be romance in the story? And where you can chose which girl to romance if there is?

Thanks! Yes, there will be romance in the story. The whole game is based on an event system where your actions change the course of the story. It could be minor things such as slight variations in the cutscenes, or more important things such as optional playable characters, or the ending of the game - in the last episode.
