Brilliant reaction to this Finale. You are so on my wavelength..... everything about this show is driven by the character and their stories and arc. I cried with you and held my breath with you. No there is definitely not going to be a season 7 this was the finale to the tv show and i think it ended brilliantly with the redemption rebirth of Thomas Shelby. There is however going to be a film that Tommy and Arthur and the gang are going to be in which will be interesting to see whether they will continue and tie up the loose ends. But i think it will be more the youngsters taking it on for the future. History is kept real in this show. Loved the symbolism in this show. The tea party at the end after they blew up Arrow house was supposed to resemble the mad hatters tea party with chandaliers outside and the table set with all the finery. So clever. You were right that Tommy seemed to have a halo around him in the shots. The rising sun on the Garrison windows is a regiment symbol and symbol of a new day new hope. The sun and sunbeams on the Hospital wall and in the x ray room are all symbols of hope. Supposedly they set the scenes whenever Diana was in shot with decay and death, stuffed animals and spikey plants etc i wish i could find the article i read as it would really interest you. The end seen was Tommy riding off on a white horse and if you remember he entered season 1 on a black horse. The white horse imagery is everywhere throughout the show, his mother bought him a white horse before she took her own life. Thankyou for being such a great reactor throughout this show, i get frustrated with some reactors when they miss the subtleties of things, (like you say nothing, absolutely nothing is done without purpose to the keen eye) but you don't i've enjoyed this journey with you, and wish you all the success going forward.
