I really like the way they handled the break up between Jake and Sophia. They didn't make Sophia a bad or unreasonable person out of nowhere like a lot of shows do with things like that. They broke up for an entirely understandable reason. Their jobs made it very difficult to have a proper relationship, and she wasn't really seeing it going anywhere and I do think they handled it in a good way. They both handled certain things in a way that wasn't entirely right. Sophia wasn't honest about how she was feeling (but I do think that maybe she wasn't even sure about it herself, I think she used her Boss as an excuse even to herself if that makes sense...) and Jake went to a party he wasn't invited to in order to meddle (which he had good intentions with, but she did keep telling him not to get involved and to go home, and he didn't listen). So yeah, I think they did it in a way that didn't make either come off as the bad guy, they just weren't right for each other. And Charles and Gina are gonna be step siblings... Wonderful! Haha I actually really love this development. It's just got so much potential for fun and awkward situations with them, considering it all started with them hooking up... Wuntch kissing Holt always makes me uncomfortable. The show does a lot of things right, but in earlier episodes they had a few moments where there was a woman sexually harassing a man used for comedic purposes. A big example is the way Gina sometimes is with Terry... They definitely got better with it, but there are just some moments that make me quite uncomfortable... The stuff with Wuntch is definitely different though, she's NOT a friend, she's an enemy and she's not exactly the best person (she's an enjoyable character though.) But with Gina, it really gets to me because she's considered a friend to them all, yet she can be really weird with Terry and it's never commented on or corrected, she just gets away with it. I know it's not really a big deal and it's just a show and all that, but that's something that really makes me not able to like Gina. (She has her moments where I can appreciate her character, but for the most part I just don't...)
