Good catch! The actress' name is Diane Kruger. She was also in National Treasure and Troy. Surprising that they got such a big actress for such a small part.

I wonder if this is where she met Joshua Jackson because they dated for years. Or did she get the part because she was dating him already? Often times actors will have their significant others get a cameo or bit part in whatever show they're in.

Hadn't thought of that (okay, I forgot they were a thing). They were together when this episode was filmed, so that could be how it happened. It's still seems strange because she dies in the opening scene.

Diane Kruger was Joshua Jackson’s girlfriend at the time. I used to be quite a fan of hers until I attempted to watch the American remake of The Bridge, in which she was unwatchable. I highly recommend the original series if you’re ok with subtitles. I think the original title was ‘Borgen’ but I’m not sure. Searching Amazon for The Bridge finds it anyway. I’m not suggesting it for your reaction videos but if you have any free time I think you’d really enjoy it.
