Elijah left not cuz of Klaus and Hayley he left cuz Hayley needs to help the wolves it gives her purpose. He believes he’s a distraction to Hayley and he knows he can’t help her with the emotions of giving Hope away only Klaus can. Also he might like her and Klaus is his brother they are the only two wolves he actually cares for.

The new additions to the cast are incredible! Yusuf Gatewood and Daniel Sharman totally own these roles/characters. I can’t wait for you to see more! The actress playing Esther is also doing a good job at portraying someone older and wise. Like Klaus said in their conversation, her dreams are bigger than the teenage girl she appears as. And yup, Klaus is like the monarch of the family. Everything has to be about him. And it doesn’t help that Elijah who plays a maternal/paternal role to his siblings is so obsessed with Klaus. It’s like giving in to a child’s temper tantrums. It establishes messed up norms. If I was Kol I would just run away and live my life under a cloaking spell. Kind of like what Rebekah is doing now.
