I have those exact same concerns about sleeping naked! It really is a terrifying thought!

Agh, it's so annoying because while I love Mickey and love that he wanted to take care of Ian and all that, I do believe he needs to see a Doctor, and if Hospitalisation is suggested, I think they should take it. Because that's where Monica went wrong. She had Frank not wanting her to get better, not wanting her Hospitalised. It would only need to be for a little while, just so he could get a handle on things and get some meds and they could all get some tips on how to help him through it. I just feel like, while he has good intentions and I love him for it, he should listen to the ones who have experience with this illness. I really love that you figured out that Ian's Bipolar basically as soon as we saw him back in episode 5 or whatever. You're the first reactor to know from the start of the story, and there's something about it that's really refreshing. I think it's because you don't think it's weird or out of character, or that it's just all about Mickey and all that, you understand what's happening and I really like that. I had a feeling you'd figure it out pretty quickly, as I've seen you CM reactions and you tend to understand Mental Illness. That moment where Mickey brings Debbie and Carl over for help, and they realise what's happening. Whether you like Debbie or not, you have to admit it was heartbreaking to see her figure it out. Realising your brother has the same thing as your Mother who is a deadbeat and has caused you so much pain, that must be terrifying! Especially as it's Ian, imo. Because Ian was always the steadiest of the family. He had a steady job from the very first episode, he had a dream he was working towards, he didn't bring his drama home with him. And then suddenly he's not. It's horrible, because he probably went from their brother (and this is about them all) to just a copy of Monica. Not on purpose or anything, just because of trauma that they have, and it's really sad... :( I love that scene at the Alibi though! Mickey is terrified about everyone's reactions to him coming out, and they're all just completely fine with it. Like, Tommy made a gay joke, but it honestly seemed more like a friendly tease to me than anything, but it quickly went to just discussing celebs who are gay, and Kev just admitting he wasn't surprised. (It makes sense that Kev wasn't surprised. He's basically had Mickey and Ian's relationship shoved in his face all season...) I feel so bad for Carl though. And Bonnie. She was such a short lived character, but she was a good one imo (honestly much more personality than Matt, who we just can't seem to get rid of...) But obviously her worry about Carl starting to like her wasn't only about her issues, but also because she knew they'd be leaving at some point soon and didn't want him to hurt too much over it. I think she probably knew he had abandonment issues and was sad she'd be adding to that... Fiona is honestly so lucky! Not only did she serve basically no time for a pretty damn serious crime, but she immediately got a pretty good job... I honestly thought Lip was about to get sacrificed the first time I watched this though... Haha

yes i agree with you there on the ian situation about hospitalization. its just hard to think of that being the first option when often times its manageable with meds. monica was also an addict and she was unable to follow treatment on her own which is why hospitalization was needed. its just sad though since mickey doesn't want to lose him now that he finally has him, you know? i just hope they figure things out but this is shameless so its probably going to be sad and awful.
