Eeeee! So happy you're back to this, and that you're in recovery! Glad you're feeling better. You were actually spot on when comparing that song in the beginning to "All By Myself", as that's exactly what it is lol! They took that song and re-recorded it entirely in Belter Creole, along with the song "Highway Star" which played right before that one. So awesome. They have the full versions on YT. The reason why this feels like a new season is because it technically is! This episode marks the beginning of Book 3. The previous episode finished off book 2! In comes Ashford! Another amazingly written character, I'm excited for you to see how they develop him! To address the scene where Drummer and Ashford are standing within inches of each other: that's actually a very Belter thing to do. Despite the fact that it looks pretty uncomfortable/intimate lol. Their sense of personal space is VERY different from the Inners. And yes, that guy is blind! They never address it in-show, but he has mods in his hands connected to his brain that helps him "see," and he's directly connected to those cameras floating around too. Sorry in advance btw, I will probably have an unbearable amount of Amos rants in your comment section in the future. He is by far my favorite character, and one of if not the most interesting characters in media I have ever seen. I can honestly talk about him for days lmao. Starting with that "I don't shit where I eat" line. It gets me every time. I CANNOT. Not to mention the "best friend in the whole world" line making a comeback. I was DESTROYED. (Also they threw in another little crumb of his past! I know you're looking forward to hearing it all haha. I genuinely love that they're drawing it out like this though, it makes the reveal all the better, whenever that may be!) The rest of this season is absolutely insane, I'm looking forward to next week! Keep up the awesome reactions!
