As our regular Movie Production Diary listeners are aware, we've just completed another massive overhaul of our screenplay, The Furry Movie. This is what we consider the Production Draft, from which we will begin to build a budget and with which we will start to seek funding and crew. If you'd like to see how it differs from our last draft (HINT: Wildly), Small Beans Patrons can check that out here.

The next leg of this process will also be long and arduous, but in the meantime, we want your feedback! We want your support! We crave your excitement! It's NEVER too late to tweak scenes, alter a line, add a moment, etc. If you're so inclined, give the thing a read! Feel free to leave any comments you may have below, or directly on the document itself by highlighting any portion and typing in the margins.

We're especially interested in feedback from furries. Did we do the community dirty? Are we representing the fandom responsibly? Was it funny? Impactful? Hope to hear from you, and major thanks to anyone who's joined us for any part of this awesome journey. Honestly, the best part is just getting rolling. See you in the movie mines.

Great job guys! It's been a hell of a journey so far and excited to keep on riding. Real quick, on page 98 there might be a small action error. The action reads, "Trey TAKES THE CEREMONIAL PIPE from his PATER FAMILIAS It’s a COOL MOMENT FOR HIM." But then the next action says, "Trey CHOKES, laughs a bit, passes the joint back." Is it a joint or a pipe? I know this doesn't really matter because it actually doesn't effect the script or story at all, but when shopping it around someone might notice it. For the prop department finding an appropriate pipe would be fun. Especially if Hank says that it is the same pipe he and Linda used to use, AND it has a bear theme. Implying that Hank was not exaggerating when he said that he was "waiting to be myself" it would be a small detail for the IMDB trivia page in the future. Only other gripe is that the end with Sarah seemed abrupt and left me wanting more. BUT I have spent months hearing these characters develop and grow, and so that just might be a testament to your writing skill. I actually care about and like the characters. Even Ed! What little of him there is. Again, thank you both for just doing your thing, being you, and taking us along for the ride!

I love it. I have a long thought. Sarah's story is so compelling maybe make it a its own movie for later, if you were to instead give them a furrier plot line that compliments the main story instead of eclipsing it . For example if "sarah" were to slowly come to understand himself to be a transman otter called Raylee through a love of art and stuff, showing the ways we are all already unconsciously accepting furry like behaviour all over the place. Mean while Ahbed thinks he might be furry but turns out to just be a horny boy and learns painfully that furryness is more than that, and yet finding there is a place for him regardless. Make Wolfmask a gender nonspecific cartoon bear called Stephen Cole and call the movie Otterly Unbearable. oh and now there is too few women so tres is a girl. My apologies if you had to read that I am just some idiot and not even furry
