Warmups never sound the same before a recording...

Thought I might start sharing a one-off here and there!

Warmups are almost always different due to a few factors, but plain and simple, the reason usually boils down to just one (reason).

Every time one goes to record, you're needing something different.

Whether you need time to immerse in a new world, settle in with a certain accent, practice some words, some tongue twisters, loosen your tongue, warm up your throat, your mouth, practice breathing or speaking from a certain area in your body (particularly different from where you usually speak/breathe from), practicing a lisp, understanding how the sound is going to change in response to how you are moving about the mic, etc...

Thus, the way you warm up is bound to change every time, according to your needs that session.
