I personally am not a fan of Rap and Hip-hop and in fact when it comes to music, it may in fact be my least favourite genre. I avoid it like the plague but at the same time I can still appreciate people's right to enjoy the music and subcultures that they like. So when China banned Rap from TV and media I was secretly a little pleased but at the same time very alarmed because of the once again seemingly arbitrary way in which the law and government works in China, one day someone decides they don't like something and the next day it's completely banned, one day Canada arrests a criminal and the next day completely unrelated Canadians are detained in China (one of whom is actually a friend of myself and C-milk). It's not a healthy or stable environment to live in at any given moment.
