Happy New Year! Adventures abound! (Patreon)

So this is usually the part where people moan about what went wrong in 2018 and why they're so glad it's over and why 2019 is going to be amazing and they start making resolutions about losing weight or maybe paying off that pesky credit card, nothing wrong with all of that but I'd like to take a different approach. 

Life is a non-stop and ongoing adventure for all of us (yes even sitting on your couch watching TV), it never stops, never for a single moment and although we like to categorise things neatly into hours, days and years, really it's just one big event with highs, lows and frankly a whole bunch of nonsense in-between. 

This is where you come in, you are part of my adventure as much as I am a part of yours, your constant support (be it through watching my videos or helping Sasha and myself here on Patreon) has constantly spurred me on and given me the non-stop motivation to keep striving to improve, because I think ultimately that is the secret to life, always trying to improve because when you allow yourself to settle and stagnate, that's when we become unhappy and depressed. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with settling down or retiring or whatever, but still focusing on improving something be it a hobby, a skill or heck, even your appreciation for beer will ultimately give you a sense of satisfaction and happiness. Still, what does this have to do with you? Simple, I make these videos for you, always have. When I grab that camera and head out to film something it's because I know on the other side of that camera I have a very complicated, interesting yet very important family of friends (and enemies) staring right back at me and I wouldn't be doing this otherwise.
