Yesterday I spent the day with a TV crew from the state-run China Central Television organisation. I usually would have refused to work with them (they have contacted me in the past numerous times) as firstly they never pay a cent, secondly they want to dig into your personal life i.e. want to interview your wife/girlfriend, interview your friends and follow you to your workplace, film you at home etc etc and usually want to follow you around for a week. There is nothing to gain other than more exposure to the wrong sorts of people and so I have always refused.

This time however they're talking about Shenzhen and the importance of Shenzhen with regards to China's opening up and the growth of the economy here over the past 40 years.

I saw this as an opportunity to give my channel and what I do a bit of positive PR and also I do really love Shenzhen and want to be a part of this documentary which is slated to be broadcast nationwide to every household in China in order to celebrate the 40th anniversary of China opening up. That being said, after me showing the film crew around some of the interesting parts of Shenzhen, we went back to their hotel to conduct the interview segment and it was there that one of the cameramen offered to make me some tea, and it was a particular type of Chinese tea that I really like, Puer tea 普洱茶 , and this batch was aged for 10 years, quite a nice cup of tea I might add! So I thought as I struggle through my hangover today (we all went for dinner and drinks last night, and the usual Chinese culture of ganbei went into play) to put together a little montage using clips of people making Chinese tea that I've taken recently as well as a few interesting street scenes that I've captured of late.

I hope you all enjoy it and if you're in the USA, please have one hell of a good 4th of July.

Love you all,

- Stay Awesome!

I enjoy Puer as a morning/mid-day tea, and usually a green tea at night.
