That's right, I'm finally doing one of these again!

The FlashBoy Plus video is currently progressing well (I'll give more details in the monthly report in a few days), but while that's on its way to completion, I'm looking ahead to what's next.

If you've been attentive you'll probably say, "But AK, in the previous reports you said that after this you'll finally go and finish that GBA TV Tuner video!"

Yes, I did say that, and no, that project hasn't been cancelled or put in limbo again. While the GBA TV Tuner will most certainly be the next Thing of Interest after the FlashBoy Plus, it's currently planned as an unscripted video that I'll be recording the rest of on my own time.

For now, I'm looking ahead to the next, proper core video. Most of my previous video topics in the past year or so have been skewing quite towards obscure and niche hardware. I'll elaborate more in the monthly report, but I'd like to try going back to some of the smaller-scale, more mainstream topics that I used to cover on there (there probably hasn't really been one fitting that definition since 2019 if I have to be honest, aside from the NSMBDS gimmicks video!)

So here we are! I'm digging some ideas out from the vault, and I'll let you guys vote on which one you want to see me work on next! Of course, if you'd like me to finish the GBA TV Tuner video first...that's also an option in the poll! So without further ado...

1. The Pyoro series

In case you haven't heard, Pyoro is that red bird from WarioWare! He's just a silly guy. In almost every entry in the WarioWare series, he's had a starring role in his own minigames, each one themed toward the gimmick of the WarioWare game it's in. Heck, the original even been unofficially ported to platforms like the Nintendo 64 and TI-84+ calculators. So why not take a look at all of them and make a Pyoro retrospective?

2. Every first-party Nintendo stylus

As a wise man once said, "who wants to compare styluses?"

Before you ask, yes, I have made an unscripted video on the Plus channel on this exact topic 2 years ago. But I didn't actually HAVE every first-party Nintendo stylus at that time...and now I do! From the original DS stylus to the fat DSi XL stylus all the way to the Switch stylus. And with a scripted format, I might be able to rank them in a tier-list this time, for fun! This can be a fun side project that shouldn't take too long to make lol

3. Nintendo DSi/3DS Camera & Sound

That's right I'm putting TWO birds in the poll

This was an extra thing I've had lying in the idea vault for a while, but with the end of the 3DS lifespan, it's probably a perfect time to reminisce on its built-in software! I mean, I've already done a video on AR Games (which did REALLY well by the way because the nostalgia is real I suppose), so why not keep going with the camera and sound apps on the DSi and 3DS? There's plenty of fun secrets hidden in all of these apps, and I can (probably) also dig up some of my super old 3DS camera videos to show off!

4. The GBA TV Tuner

Lastly, the next planned Things of Interest topic! I originally planned it as a scripted video, but after some time in limbo due to the actual thing having a battery leakage and magically working again afterwards, I figured the proper way to do this video is to really just do it unscripted, plugging it into all sorts of random consoles and see how well it works!

Once again, this poll simply determines which one of the above projects gets to be the NEXT video made. I'll probably eventually do all of them, but if one of them in particular grabs your interest, vote for it here! These are all topics I'm very excited to do, and can hopefully breathe more life into the channel! I'll see you guys again in the monthly report where I'll be detailing these upcoming plans to the rest of the patrons.

Will you eventually do videos on all of these topics? I would 100% love that but no pressure
