Content

Hello cadets!

We are making good progress on the patch and today we will talk about another chunk of the new stuff coming in the next update.

Last time we spoke about the maid cafe and the new course characters. We've internally discussed this topic further and we have made some changes to allow Stella to be included in the upcoming main story developments.

We didn't want fighter players to feel left out and with this change, it will allow us to have an easier time developing Stella along Natalie and Erika and ensure the amount of content remains even across branches.

Main story

With 0.3.8, we're shipping the first chunk of content leading to the upcoming Campaign Act 2 in 0.4.0.

Our first steps in this is finally allowing players to partake in live flights, out in the field and away from the safety of a VR simulation. In 0.3.8 we're setting up the story and its consequences that will set the scene for 0.4.0.

Close encounters with Rebels where they shouldn't be, and a glimpse into Alliance naval doctrine that isn't sanitized for VR simulations will accompany an initial few operations in real space that will have far reaching impacts for the Academy and Alliance as a whole.

New trials with Eris

As a teaser for our plans with an upcoming patch after 0.3.8, we've added a handful of scenes to Eris at the Eclipse gallery, intended to round out her interactions and position as a side character, while also adding a new sextoy trial scene for you to enjoy with the goth clerk.

A new chance with Diane

With this update, we're adding two new things for Diane.

First, if you pissed her off during orientation week, you will have the opportunity to mend your relationship with her and start anew.

In addition, after a while players that didn't enter into an early relationship with Diane during orientation week will have an opportunity to do so.

With these options added, we will be able to continue working on Diane's relationship and adding more content and fun things to do with her.

A special treat

Unrelated to Starwatch, we've been working on a short game titled Silent Echo as an entry for TFGames' science fiction competition.

The game follows the story of the ominous Agent 36 investigating the now silent base Installation Echo.

Inspired by old school survival horror games, the game features a dynamic combat system, corruption tiers, sexy encounters, and will constantly challenge you as you try to navigate the hazardous corridors of the base and attempt to survive against the odd yet sexy creatures now inhabiting it.

We plan to ship the first chapter in late march and we will give you the opportunity to play it earlier as part of early access benefits.

Final Word

We're looking to wrap up this patch as soon as possible and we expect we'll be done with it next week.

Have fun out there!
