We're springing into some new updates for our annual Patronis, so keep on reading to learn about how to redeem your Ollie plushies and OTV rings as well as additional information relating to fulfillment and shipping.

📝// Tier Logistics - Freebie Redemption

2️⃣ Tier 2 annuals will have the option to receive a free Ollie plush! We'll be releasing it on our Patreon website with a special code for redemption shortly! You'll only have to cover the shipping cost.

3️⃣ Tier 3 annuals will have the option to receive both the free Ollie plush and an OTV ring. You'll only have to pay for the shipping cost, but you have the option to opt-in or out of either item if you prefer to receive only one.

📝 // Freebie Patch Notes + Fulfillment Guide

For anyone new to our freebie process, here’s a quick guide to why we do freebies this way with some updated information on fulfillment:

- ☑️ OPT-IN / OPT-OUT:
We observed early on that a surprising number of patrons actually opt out of physical and tangible gifts on Patreon. There was also a considerable number of Patronis whose address information we have on file is outdated. This made it so that a lot of the freebies we sent out automatically each month ended up returned or without a home. In an effort to make sure that every freebie we make and ship belongs to a patron who actually wants one, we devised this system to have people **opt-in** by placing an order and manually reconfirming their most updated shipping address.

- 📦 SHIPPING COSTS: 
The reason why we do not cover shipping is that it’s very hard to balance a global freebie program and keep it sustainable if we have to cover the wide range of shipping costs across the world. Every Patroni is here for the same flat membership rate, but shipping can range drastically from country to country. For some Patronis across the world, it can unfortunately amount to quite a significant amount. In these circumstances, we wouldn’t be able to sustain our Patreon if we also covered the shipping cost of giving out freebies. For Patronis in the US, shipping is a lot more predictable, but it would be unfair for us to make it free for people here and force our other Patrons who are around the world to pay for themselves. Thus, we decided that the simplest way would just be for us to provide the discounts on the product side and make these exclusive deals available to you all, while it’s ultimately up to the Patron to decide if the shipping cost to receive these physical goods is worth it to them. At the end of the day, we want our core offering on this platform to be content, community, and support-oriented. The physical goods are a portion of the exclusive community perks we want to offer, and we’ve set things up in a way that we can continue to sustainably provide this benefit. Hope this makes sense!

- ⏱️ FULFILLMENT TIMES:
For fulfillment times, we’ll be placing our manufacturing order for the plushies and rings as soon as we collect the final number this week. You can expect a very detailed production timeline as soon as we submit the orders and hear back from our partners. We’re excited for you guys to have these as quickly as possible! It’s always tough with estimated dates when it comes to this stuff, but my best estimate currently is about 6-8 weeks for the plush and 4-6 weeks for the rings. We’ll follow up with the product listing links and codes to redeem these products and place orders in the coming days!
