Build no.28 for 2023 - HG Lfrith (Patreon)

This was build number 28 for 2023, HG Lfrith.

In 2022 I built a yet to be posted Tekkaman themed Lfrith, so I had a spare shield for this build. I decided to test out thinning Mr Hobby Aqueous which is supposed to be an acrylic with Mr Levelling Thinner and to my surprise it worked out pretty well. I was even able to mix white lacquer paint into it with no ill side effects.

Total build time was 18.5 hours which is par for the course on most Witch from Mercury kits. I'd actually rank this among the top WFM kits as it doesn't have any leg armor seams unlike the Aerial and Aerial Rebuild.

Purple - MS Zeon Grey + bit of Mr Color Purple + bit of Mr Color Phantom Grey, white added for highlights then post-shade blend with base color

White - Mr Color 306 Base coat, then Finishers Super Shell White used to cover and shade

Pink - White primer, then base coat of Mr Hobby Aqueous Lfrith Pink. Foundation White added into the mix for highlights, then blend with base color

Frame - Gaianotes Gunmetal + bit of Mr Color GX Metal Violet
