i know you don’t tend to shy away from tough subjects but after the episode ended , i wanted to cry! Beau (i think that’s how you spell it) was soooo lucky to have y’all even if it was for less than a year, i hope you and Audrey both know y’all are so awesome !!! thanks for another shameless video!🧡

man i felt for frank in this episode. such a terrible fucked up guy, but it really is a cycle of abuse. the way he finally stood up to her at the end and wasn't taken seriously just hurt my heart a bit as someone's whose been through that kind of thing - a parent breaking you down bit by bit until you lose it, but then they use that against you too. i hate him but i feel for him hahah

while bed wetting can be linked to alcoholism its also important to note he only started doing that again once he saw his mom 😣

You are so right about Sheila! She has always been my favorite character, even before I developed agoraphobia. I'm finally able to leave my house again and work, but before that Sheila was such a comfort character to watch bc they just wrote her so well, and Joan portrays her perfectly. Although it was humorous and dramatized, I felt the show was very sympathetic when it came to her mental illness, and it made me feel less bad about myself when I was struggling.

Bed wetting is also common in abused children. He didn't start wetting the bed like that until his mom showed up. So I don't think it's alcoholic related in this situation.
