the line at 16:39 about "most dungeons have already been cleared", combined with himmel in the last episode displaying the Skyrim Approach to dungeoneering, leads me to the 100% certain conclusion that the reason the original journey took 10 years was cuz himmel was a completionist and wouldn't stop exploring every dungeon they came across

You focused too much on no sacrifices being needed to pass the dungeon and missed that team-work is what Sense wants out of this test in order for people to pass. It was stated clearly
