Year-End Update (Patreon)

Hi everyone! 2020's almost done, so I thought I'd end the year with a post looking ahead to what's coming in 2021.

First of all, I want to remind everyone that there will be no new build this month! 0.29 was the last build of 2020, as I'm no longer sticking to the monthly release schedule. If you somehow missed that announcement, please see this post. However, I do plan on continuing to update 0.29 with hotfixes, as there are still a few annoying bugs to work out. Expect another hotfix in the next day or two. In the meantime, as usual, if you have any issues, feel free to DM me here or on Discord, and I'll look into them.

Additionally, remember that the in-game Christmas event continues until the end of the year! You can get unique items and a Christmas-themed H-scene by completing the Secret Santa event, and unique outfits for every Haremon by exchanging vouchers at Annie's shop. (Don't worry if you don't have time to finish the event; you can still use "setdate 12 25" in the console to access Christmas content anytime!)

Now, here's what we have to look forward to in 2021:

I'm still hard at work on Chapter 3, and it's shaping up to be something special. There are 3 brand-new H scenes (possibly more), a new Haremon, a new Awakened Haremon, a new dungeon with unique mechanics and several sub-areas, a climactic boss fight, and of course, a whole bunch of story content. This is where the story really picks up, and I think you'll be surprised with some of the directions it takes. I haven't shared much so far, because I don't want to spoil anything from the new chapter; however, I suppose I could give you a small taste of something from the new Chapter...

That's all you get for now... maybe I'll offer a few more sneak-peeks in the coming weeks!

After Chapter 3, I'm really hoping to be able to finish Chapter 4 in 2021 as well. Thanks to the new lenient update schedule, I'll be able to focus most of my work on new story content without worrying about monthly filler; that way, I'll be able to hopefully finish Chapter 4 by the end of 2021, and ideally even make significant progress on Chapter 5. In between chapters, I will plan on releasing some minor updates, for example to add new H scenes, date locations, and the like.

I also want to mention something else that I've received a lot of questions about: Meru. Last Christmas, I announced that the succubus Meru would be coming to Haremon in 2020. Obviously, that didn't end up happening. I didn't want to go into detail because I wasn't sure what was going on, but I think it's safe to say now that Meru probably isn't coming to Haremon. At least, not any time soon. I lost contact with the artist, meru_nyaa, several months ago, in the middle of organizing the implementation. Unfortunately, she's stopped returning my messages and I have no way of moving forward on this collaboration. I know she went through some stuff this year, so I'm happy to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I have no idea when or if I'll be able to get back in touch with her. Until then, it unfortunately seems like the Meru character won't become a reality. Believe me, I'm just as disappointed as you are... I've already spent quite a bit of time and money on assets for the character, so I'm pretty bummed. I'll keep you updated if there are any developments on this front.

But let's end this on a more positive note! There are several new Haremon who ARE coming to Haremon next year, and they're all fantastic. Seriously. The Chapter 3 and 4 Haremon are some of my favorite designs yet, and I hope you're as excited as I am to finally meet them.
