EDIT 9: Hotfixed to 0.29.0.9, fixing many bugs and crashes.

Hi everyone! At long last, the 0.29 overhaul is ready for download. Thank you all so very much for your patience. You can read the changelog (and some other important notes) here, and download the build here.

Apparently I can't use my save files from previous versions because they aren't supported. I recently just became a Patreon and I downloaded the new version because it looked fun. How do I fix this error? I want the Christmas stuff :)

0.29 is an overhaul of the whole game, so unfortunately it broke old saves. If you'd like to download 0.28, you can use that build to access the christmas content on your old save. Just DM me and I'll send you a link

Usually, yes. But 0.29 is such a drastic overhaul that old saves are not compatible. However, your save files from0.29 WILL work with 0.30.
