Donkey Kong Country 2 "Stickerbush Symphony" [METAL VERSION] (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here is the FULL VIDEO for my metal cover of Stickerbush Symphony from Donkey Kong Country 2!

I was mentioning this in my work in progress posts about it but this theme was a really fun challenge for me! I wanted to take myself out of my comfort zone a bit and do a theme that's SUPER chill and doesn't have crazy guitar shredding all over the place. Of course I love doing covers like that too but it feels like it's been a while since we've slowed it down and done a serious atmospheric banger like this one!

I had such a blast layering all of these clean guitars together for the intro and eventually just made the decision to have the clean guitars going throughout the whole song! I think there's like....10 clean guitars all playing different parts to really fill out the space. It definitely wasn't a case of planning for that many but I found myself having so much fun adding layers on layers of guitars even if some of them are so low in the mix they might not be noticeable. That's the fun part of atmospheric pieces is you can really mess with the volume of stuff to where you only notice it's there when you miss it after taking it out!

This theme was such a blast to put together and I'm very happy with how it turned out! I hope you enjoy!! Let me know what you think if you haven't yet :D
