Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track & MIDI for my metal cover of BLINDED BY LIGHT from FFXIII

Rhythms:

Style - downtuned, palm muting, down picking

Difficulty - 2/5

Our riffs here are an absolute blast to play and I think they are definitely doable for even newer players! The only challenge here is the nature of this theme being a bit on the faster side. But if you slow it down then I think anyone should be able to have a blast learning these super fun riffs. The important thing here is the palm muting as well as ringing out those big open chords during the chorus cleanly. That will probably be one of the tougher parts of this!

Leads:

Style - octaves, melodic

Difficulty - 3/5

Our leads I'd say are a TAD more challenging than our rhythms but there isn't anything on here that is insanely hard. The tricky parts here are those octave parts during the verse and end of the chorus. you'll be sliding your fretting hand all over the fretboard at lightning fast speed and it can be a bit challenging to land on the correct notes so fast. But beyond that, the other melodies on this piece are amazingly melodic and super chill to play!
