Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night - "Gears of Fortune" [METAL VERSION] (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here is the FULL VIDEO for my metal cover of GEARS OF FORTUNE from Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night requested by Josh B.

I'm so stoked on how this arrangement turned out overall. This was definitely a challenge to make due to to how DENSE of an arrangement it ended up being. But the challenge was extremely fun to take on! The trick here was getting the layers of choirs, strings, church organ's, violins, and synths to all play nice together. I definitely had to bring my A game to the mixing session here and make sure every moment of this piece was jamming to it's full potential. I think I got it pretty good but I'm curious to hear what you all think!

Mixing aside, this theme just slaps. Bloodstained is such an underrated soundtrack that stands just as tall as the Castlevania soundtracks from years back. I love how it's so deeply rooted in classical music and really challenges me to play some shreddy passages and also utilize scales and patterns that I rarely even think of playing. It helps me grow more as a musician!

I also want to say thank you for an amazing 2021. This will be my last video of the year and it's just been another amazing year of video game metal for me. I'm planning on 2022 being a HUGE year for me as far as content goes.
