Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track, and MIDI for my metal cover of We're The Desperate Measures from Halo 3 ODST

Rhythms:

Style - heavy palm muting, down picking, unique chord voicings

Difficulty - 2/5

Our rhythms here are an absolute blast to play and they're super straight forward and a blast to play! The only challenge here I think is some of the wacky chord shape's we'll be doing as things pick up a bit going into the chorus. We're throwing our fretting hand through a couple of crazy loops here but overall in this song it's super straight forward and great for all skill levels!

Leads:

Style - sticatto, percussive, bluesy

Difficulty - 1/5

Our leads here are super chill as well and I think it's a great introduction for newer players into lead guitar playing! Our harmony parts here are playing a support role throughout most of this piece; doubling up on the cellos. Then we have our main lead guitar part which are complimenting everything with some bluesy melodic lines that are a ton of fun to play. I think these licks would be great for new players!
