Final Fantasy VIII "Maybe I'm a Lion" - Tabs, Backing Track, and MIDI (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track, and MIDI file for my metal cover of Final Fantasy VIII's "Maybe I'm a Lion Theme"

Rhythms:

Style - Technical

Difficulty - 5/5

Our rhythms here are absolutely no joke! Though, the challenge mostly lies in the second half of the song when the speed really picks up. We begin with some beefy chords and some very fun riffage. The right rhythm guitar starts to bring in the technicality a bit while the left is still doing some chords. And then we enter our sludgy rock-style heavy riff with the organ.

Then we enter the break section where we have our left guitar isolated playing what is the beginning of an absolutely insane section. It's all about alternate picking here and being very presice with the picking and string articulation.

Leads:

Style - bluesy, melodic

Difficulty - 4/5

Our leads here are also quite challenging although I'd say they're slightly less intense than the rhythms. We begin with some accents on top of our primarily rhythm guitar-driven intro.

Then we really let the leads come through in the second half of the song where we start playing some of those organ leads on guitar which are SUPER challenging. These are the main reason I'm putting it at 4/5 because these leads are absolutely no joke here. The rest of the song's leads are very fun and straight forward however!
