Sonic Adventure 2 "Live and Learn" - Tabs, Backing Track, and MIDI (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track, and MIDI file for my metal cover of Sonic Adventure 2's "Live and Learn" theme!

Note: This song is in E standard tuning. So it's a bit different than my usual Drop C tuning. You can always transpose it on guitar pro to whatever tuning you like to play in! 

Style - old-school riffs, big chords, stretchy fingerings

Difficulty - 5/5

These riffs, while amazingly fun to play, are pretty challenging! There's a lot of bar chording and string skipping happening here on the main motif's of the song. And also this theme is very rhythm guitar-based.

That being said! It's still super fun and I definitely would recommend giving it a try even if you're a newer player. You can always play it slow and build up speed over time! :D

We begin with the main riff which is definitely the hardest part of the song. That main motif requires some gnarly string spacing. 

Now we have our verse where it gets significantly easier. We're chuggin' away on some heavy power chords here with some palm muting.

Now for the pre-chorus, we're opening it up into some big chords with some open strings. this part is super fun!

Then finally we have our chorus where it's very similar to the opening riff. Only we're having a couple of different chords here after the main motif.
