Hey everyone! Here is the FULL VIDEO for my metal cover of LIVE AND LEARN from Sonic Adventure 2 featuring my friend the amazing HomykSmash!
We have to praise Homyk for not only delivering some amazing vocals, but approaching me with the idea to do this theme in the first place! I've wanted to do this theme for a while but of course, you need an absolute badass singer! Homyk approached me to do this cover and I couldn't say no of course.
Arrangement wise, I tried to strike that balance of being as true to the original as I could, but also making sure you're able to hear my style in the track. I had a ton of fun layering some big guitar parts on top of the iconic rhythm guitar parts and also laying down a SUPER fun solo that I'm very proud of!
Homyk absolutely delivered on vocals. I don't know what else to say haha. He did amazing and I definitely want to continue doing some work with him in the future! I'm sure this won't be the least thing you see from us working together by a long shot.
