Donkey Kong Country [METAL COVER] "Fear Factory" (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here is the FULL VIDEO for my metal cover of the amazing FEAR FACTORY theme from Donkey Kong Country!

If you've been to my Twitch streams, you know that DKC is a HUGE banger in the requests for my shredstreams. I very commonly perform my cover of Aquatic Ambience and Hot Head Bop from DKC 2. So I really wanted to have some more themes from this awesome series available to jam!

This theme, in my opinion, is perfect for my style. It has that E minor jamming atmosphere to it and I immediately knew what I wanted to do going into the arrangement. I tried to keep it super straight up and focus on making the riffs as crushing as I could!

The leads were a ton of fun to record as well, that middle section where it gets calm really let me expirement with some extra delay and reverb on the tones and give it that epic atmosphere that the original has. That's something I don't always get to do so it was really fun to do here!

And the drums in particular I spent a TON of time on. This song sounds like it would be so fun to play on drums so I tried to really get into that drummer mindset and come up with some very spicy fills to be that cherry on top.
