FATEFUL CONFRONTATION (The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky) - METAL Cover (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here is the FULL VIDEO for my metal cover of "Fateful Confrontation" from The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky AKA  Sora no Kiseki SC requested by  Exia Novus.

This theme from the get-go is an absolute shredfest! It goes SO fast all the way through and doesn't let up a bit. I knew going into this I had to put on my shreddiest suit and tie to get ready to jam on this one. I'm super happy with how it turned out!!

I wanted to bring some bigger emphasis to the rhythm guitars and bring more of a power / thrash metal vibe to it. It was such a blast as I rarely get to do stuff in the style of power metal where I play a million miles an hour and have some soaring melodies on top. I usually would be classified as the melodic death metal genre where the riffs are heavier and grindier. So this was a treat getting to switch it up a bit but still do my thing!

The rhythms here were particularly insane. There's that crazy dream theater-like breakdown in the middle there with the time signature changes that was super fun. I can't wait to perform this one on shredstreams because of that!
