Hey everyone! Here's the full video for my metal cover of the amazing JENOVA theme from Final Fantasy VII.

It's been quite a bit since I've shredded up a Final Fantasy VII theme and I've been missing this ost a ton! Playing my FF7 songs on stream always reminds me how fun these themes are to play and I was super excited to get back into the ost.

This theme JENOVA in particular has always stood out as a phenomenal boss theme in all of VGM. I love how it just comes right out the gate swinging and never lets up. It felt perfect to throw in some metal guitars and deliver that same energy in a metal format!

I had a ton of fun arranging this especially with the rhythm guitars and drums. I could experiment a bit with some drum beats particularly in the chorus section. And I got to lay down a solo that I'm super proud of as well!

It feels great to be doing more FF7 metal and I am definitely not done with this awesome soundtrack. Let me know what theme you'd like to see next!
