Hey guys! Here are the tabs, backing track and MIDI file for my metal cover of Prince Ali from Aladdin!

Overall we have some super complex and challenging rhythm parts but weirdly enough, our leads are significantly more simplified and great for newer players!

Rhythms:

Style - harmonized parts, open string ringing

Difficulty - 5/5

Our rhythms here are significantly harder than our leads. We have some very technical parts here and we utilize a lot of open string ringing and complex djenty picking.

We start off basic with our main riff chugging along on the A# note. We then open it up into some big chords and go into our chorus.

Our chorus is the meat of the song where we utilize some open string ringings and then go into round 2 of the chorus where we're doing some extremely technical playing utilizing all 6 strings.

Next up is our bridge where we're ringing out some epic big chords copying the lead guitar melody.

Then we repeat our chorus but this time, a half step up in the key of B and upping the trashiness a bit.

Now we have our breakdown where we're chugging some heavy palm mutes here.

Then finally we end it with a final go-around of the chorus utilizing some big open 9th chords.

Leads:

Style - melodic, percussive

Difficulty - 2/5

Our leads here are super straight forward and great for newer players looking to learn some lead parts. However, we do also have some sweep licks in here that will challenge more experienced players as well.

We start off with our main chorus melody and this is definitely the lead part that I encourage everyone to learn. It's easy and a ton of fun!

We then go into our bridge where we're pedaling on harmonized notes.

That's about it for the meat of the lead parts besides some bursts of shreddy sweeps occurring throughout the song.

Hope you enjoy learning some of these riffs and licks! If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up in a DM on here or on discord.

Rock on!

~ Jack
