Deltarune "Scarlet Forest" - Tabs, Backing Track and MIDI! (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track, and MIDI file for my metal cover of Deltarune's "Scarlet Forest" theme!

Rhythms:

Style - power chords, heavy melodic riffs

Difficulty - 2/5

Our rhythms here are super chill for the most part and mainly are focusing on supporting the melodic lead guitars. We do have a few tricky parts in here though so let's break it down.

Our main riff is super straight forward where we start off with power chords and then open it up a bit to some more melodic 9th chords going down openly in the second half.

Now we have our verse riff which is all about the heavy palm muting down strokes. This is all about the picking hand here.

Then finally we have our climactic chorus where we ring out some melodic chords and let the leads sing over it!

Leads:

Style - palm muting leads, octaves

Difficulty - 3/5

Our leads are a tad trickier than our rhythms but we still have some great licks for all skill levels here.

We start off with our backing lead which jumps all over the place playing our chord progression as individual notes. We then have our main melody lead come in which is super straight forward and a ton of fun. You can really let loose with the vibrato on this lead part which makes it super fun!

We then have our heavy version of that melody where we're playing it as octaves and this gets trickier as we're moving the same fingering all up and down the neck super quickly.

Then next up we have our verse riff which features some palm muting and super tight rhythm lead playing. We also have a few hammer on's and pull offs in this melody as well.

Then lastly is our iconic deltarune melody where we're doing some legato playing and letting the vibrato take over here.

Then for our solo, we're doing a fun bluesy bend and lick starting off, then going up with some quick alternate pickling into our "Snowy" reference. This snowy riff features some chords being played as leads and some really quick hammer on's and pull offs.

Next up in our solo, we do some blazing fast tapping up the strings and then end it with a reference to "Another Medium" from Undertale!
