DELTARUNE METAL "Scarlet Forest" - Cover by ToxicxEternity (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here is the full video for my metal cover of the amazing Scarlet Forest theme from DELTARUNE!

I've been wanting to cover this theme for sooo long! When I first heard this theme in the game, It was one of those "damn this soundtrack is amazing" moments. Similar to when I initially heard Rude Buster in the game as well.

I wanted to wait however so I wouldn't be burning myself out on doing all of the Deltarune covers I wanted to do right when the game first came out. So with it being Deltarune's 1-year birthday recently, this felt like the perfect time!

Arrangement wise, I wanted to really step up this theme and pump some new life into it. We cranked the tempo up pretty significantly which is something I don't do often. Usually that would be a terrible idea but here I think it works so well when it's in a metal style. I had a ton of fun with the rhythm guitars bringing these awesome melodic metal riffs into it and letting the lead guitars be as expressive as they can be without anything clashing.

The soloing was a ton of fun too, I had to pay some homage to amazing past Toby Fox themes in the references in there for good measure. So many amazing melodies to play.

Overall I had such ha blast with this theme and I hope you enjoy it.
